US plans to ban visa for Chinese passport amid rising tensions in Taiwan, Tibet and Uyghur

Recently it has been reported that China can now ban visas on American passports, which indicates that in the future China may impose restrictions on visas of US officials, American citizens and American businesses due to the growing closeness between the US and Taiwan and Trump’s tariff war. China has announced visa restrictions on some U.S. personnel who have “behaved badly” on Tibet-related issues, its foreign ministry said on Monday (April 14, 2025). But now it has been told that due to increasing tension related to Taiwan, Tibet and Uyghur, China is going to impose restrictions on all types of visas including education, business, visit, and military visas for passports of US, European and East Asian countries for some years. In 2024, approximately 1.7 million American visitors from China arrived in the United States. While the U.S. saw over 72 million international visitors in 2024, China was the fourth biggest source of Asian tourists. Now, with a US passport and Chinese visa, both countries can take steps in their own interests. China is now keeping an eye on every immigrant coming from America so that Western ideology is not allowed to spread inside China so that China does not have to face the challenge of civil war like the Taiwan war, for which China is now taking strict steps even on American passport.

Recently, due to increasing side war between Trump and China and South China Sea tensions, the passport and visa war can also start from side war. The employment rate in the United States, specifically focusing on the Asian population, is currently at 3.50%, which is below the long-term average of 4.63%. Trump promises to increase large-scale emplyemnt in the united states for the real Americans by banning multiple visa entries for all foreign employees and jobs. Trump plans to increase American Labour forces in China, Vietnam, India and Europe. Approximately 2.4 million Chinese immigrants resided in the United States. However, the Chinese immigrant population is a notable part of the overall labor force. More than 2 Million Chinese labour force earn billions of USD by owning Chinese citizenship and sending $48 Billion annual to Chinese banks and their homeland. Trump has said that from whichever country in the world the labourers come, they will have to settle in the US so that billions of dollars of US remittances do not go to other countries and the US government and US economy get maximum benefit. For which US are now going to ban the non-immigration visa of China which also includes India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and many countries of Africa.
