Israeli Iron Dome, MIM-104 Patriot and Arrow 3 failed to intercept Yemeni Burkan-2H missiles

Some reports have said that Iran and Russia have confirmed that Israeli Defense systems like Arrow 3, MIM-104 Patriot and Iron Dome failed to stop Yemeni Burkan-2H missiles, but Israeli media has said that Israeli defense forces did not deliberately stop the Yemeni missiles. On the other hand, proxy wars are going on between Yemen and Israel and in this Iran has control of Yemeni Burkan H-2 and Iran is now launching ballistic missiles from Yemen to find the location of Israel’s defense system. The Burkan-2H (also known as Volcano-2H) is a mobile short-range ballistic missile used by the Houthi rebels in Yemen. It’s a member of the Scud missile family and is believed to be based on the Iranian Qiam-1 missile. The Burkan-2H was first publicly launched in July 2017, targeting an oil facility in Saudi Arabia. The use of the Burkan H2 missile serves both military and political objectives for the Houthis. It aims to raise the military and economic costs for the coalition, weaken the morale of the Saudi, and Israeli civilian population, and shore up domestic support within Yemen.

Why Israel failed to intercept Iranian and Yemeni missiles, or is it not intercepting it on purpose?

Recently, Yemeni rebels attacked several Israeli beaches with ballistics and cruise missiles due to which sirens of attack sound every week in many Israeli beaches but still Israel’s defense is so strong and active that it is responding to 50% of Yemen, Hezbollah and Iranian attacks but now the way Israel’s air defense system like Arrow 3, Iron Dome, and MIM-104 Patriot and THAAD system are continuously failing to respond to Houthis’ attacks. So in such a situation, some sources believe that Israel does not want to deliberately intercept Yemeni and Iranian ballistic missiles because it has been told that Israel does not want that the tracker installed in the ballistic missiles can give information about Israeli air defense to Iran and Russia. Apart from this, Israel’s defense budget is also being saved because due to the rift between Israel and Trump, Israel does not want that due to the increasing attack by Houthis, Israel is not normally using THAAD, MIM-104 Patriot and Arrow 3 air defense apart from Iron Dome.

Actually, Yemeni Burkan H2 had attacked Saudi and UAE oil and economic sites several times. But this time the Yemeni Burkan H2 missiles are being used only against Israel because the Houthis want Israel to end its operations in Gaza and withdraw its military from Gaza, but Israel does not want Hamas to win and a direct connection between the Houthis and Iran to be established, creating big problems for Israel in the future. Actually, Yemeni armed forces have said many times before that they are targeting US aircraft carriers and Israeli cities with ballitics missiles, but apart from this Houthis also have top Iranian Drones, Hypersonic and enough ammunition which have become a big threat for Israel even now.
