Recently, it has been reported that Trump has started imposing tariffs on many countries which has caused huge damage to almost 90% of the countries, most of which have suffered economic damage apart from Vietnam, China and the European Union, India, Japan, and South Korea. Recently, it has been told that even though US companies, firms, stocks, bonds, and countries across the world are facing losses due to Trump’s tariffs, right because of that a very profitable news has come for the US treasury. US federal government debt breached the $34 trillion mark for the first time in history in February 2025 and the US treasury’s 10-year treasury was approximately $7.7 trillion which was more lowest than US federal debt. Trump plans to make a strong US government by gaining $25 trillion USD revenue in Trump’s Tariff war. In a tariff war, the U.S. can generate revenue and pursue strategic goals through several mechanisms, though the net benefits are often debated due to offsetting costs. The U.S. government collects taxes on imported goods subject to tariffs. For example, during the 2018–2019 U.S.-China trade war, tariffs generated $79 billion in revenue for the U.S. Treasury. Recently there was a warning to Putin to ceasefire the Ukraine war as soon as possible or else in the secondary phase tariffs of up to 70% will be imposed on Russia’s oil and Russian imports.

Why has Trump not imposed any Tariffs on Russia?

Recently, Trump no imposed Tarrif on Hungary along with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus because he believes that the US president is still respected in these countries and he wants to establish very good relations with the US. By the way, no country has come out in support of China regarding the Trump’s Tariff has made on it, not even Russia and Iran. Although the US has imposed many financial, defense, and economic sanctions on Russia, still the US has not put tariff Russia in any way because Trump believes that the Ukraine war is very important in bringing Russia and Trump closer.

Trump has said that the US government will benefit the most from the tariff war and there will be a huge increase in the US Congress and US federal reserves which will increase investment in US stocks and US domestic exports in the future. The U.S. “earns” in a tariff war primarily through direct tariff revenue and strategic gains (e.g., trade concessions, industry protection). However, these benefits are often offset by retaliatory measures, higher consumer prices, and economic inefficiencies. Most economists argue that tariff wars are net harmful in the long term, but they can serve short-term political or protectionist objectives.

US government’s Takeover on Global Real Estate, Stock Market and international businesses

Trump’s Tariffs will pressure all countries to hold American Securities, Dollar, and US banking services to increase the US government’s values globally. Trump says that big banks, companies, and firms in the US have 90% of the US economy under their control and they intervene against every decision of the US President so that the employees of the old government can be saved. Some reporters believe that Trump wants the USD and the US government to take over international businesses across the world so that America’s interest increases in every financial, economic, and business industry.
