Russia is developing Laser Weapons to counter the US, UK, Germany, and NATO weapons in Eastern Ukraine

IS RUSSIA LOSING UKRAINE?, US claim Russia looking for Defense partner like Iran, China and India to fight NATO in 2030, Europe and US fears newly made Russian Laser-Weapons.

Recently, Russia has increased spending and production on its laser weapons, due to which the Russian Army will now easily shoot down Ukrainian, NATO, and Western drones. Actually, now a Russian-made laser weapon takes down a drone at a distance of 1 km for the first time because NATO countries have been waiting for this technology for many years. But now all the Western countries are afraid of Russia because Russia has acquired the world’s most advanced laser-weapons technology. Recently, the Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for almost 4 years, but Russia still has the strength to fight for another 50 years. Due to the increasing debt to Western countries, one day, NATO countries may have to lose Ukraine. Because recently, Russian Chechen military commander Ramzan Kadyrov has said that Russia’s military is still capable of fighting all the NATO countries together because Russia’s final option is nuclear war, but apart from this, Russia still has the capability to fight all the NATO countries. Recently, the intelligence of Ukraine, the UK, France, Germany, NATO, and the US has claimed that Russia is currently looking for a big partner country like China, Iran, and India for its Su-57, Su-35, Kamikaze Drones, Hypersonic Missiles, and S-500, which can strengthen Russia’s defense in a future war between NATO and Russia.

Latest 4 Russian Laser Systems in 2026, to counter Western Weapons supplies.

  • Peresvet (Пересвет): A mobile laser system for air defense, designed to dazzle and blind enemy drones, satellites, and reconnaissance aircraft, currently deployed near conflict zones.
  • Sokol-Eshelon (Сокол-Эшелон): An airborne laser system based on the Beriev A-60 aircraft, intended as an anti-satellite weapon, with development ongoing.
  • 1K17 Szhatie (1К17 Сжатие): A Soviet-era, self-propelled laser complex on a tank chassis, capable of disrupting optics and potentially causing blindness, now a museum piece.
  • KAB-1500L: A widely used laser-guided bomb for fighter jets, focusing on precision strikes.

Why does Russia fear a war with NATO amid rising laser-weapons supply in Ukraine?

Russia often touts its laser tech to project superiority, but experts find claims of widespread battlefield deployment for high-tech lasers often exaggerated, with many systems either experimental or focused on disabling rather than destroying. However, independent verification of effective Russian laser deployment in combat—particularly against manned aerial forces from the US, UK, Germany, or NATO—remains lacking as of late 2025. Western sources, including the Pentagon, have repeatedly found no evidence to support early claims, often labeling them as propaganda or exaggeration, similar to unfulfilled “wonder weapons” rhetoric. Although the Pentagon has said that Russia does not have any special laser weapon that can defeat the laser technology of the US, UK, Israel, and Germany, Russia is also showing fear of laser weapons so that NATO countries do not attack Russia together because Russia does not want the Ukraine war to get caught between NATO and Russia. But it has been told that Russia is still facing a lot of difficulties in defence production, hence the Russian government is facing a lot of loss in making Laser-Weapons, Extra Hypersonic missiles, and the world’s most advanced Air Defence System.
