It has recently been reported that Microsoft, Amazon, IBM and 70% of the world’s internet companies fear that the Houthis can now cut Tier 1, Tier 2 and Internet cables in the Red Sea. Red Sea cable cuts could disrupt 70% of Asia-Europe internet traffic, causing latency in cloud services like Azure, economic losses in finance and trade, and heightened geopolitical tensions. Repairs may take weeks; traffic is rerouting via alternatives. Microsoft reports issues resolved for now. But recently Microsoft has tried to stop the Houthis in order to save the Tier 1 cable connecting Asia-Europe, America and Africa because it has been said that even though the US has satellite-like internet, there is still a possibility of the US’s entire financial, data centres, business and global internet erupting. Actually, Elon Musk’s Starlink can be a new alternative, but still the US will have to bear a lot of losses because Satellite Internet will not be able to provide the desired speed of 1000+ TBPS. So, the question arises that will Microsoft now offer approximately $100 million dollars to the Houthis so that, along with Microsoft, 70% of the world’s internet users and companies do not suffer. Apart from this, Microsoft has already said that US tech companies will not interfere in the Israel-Yemen war that is coming.

Why Microsoft offers $100 Million+ to Yemen for protecting Trades, Financial, Businesses and 70% of Asia’s Internet?

It has recently been told that Internet Sea Fiber cables have been given names like 2Africa, SEA-ME-WE 6, AAE-1, PEACE Cable, EIG, and FLAG Europe-Asia, which work in their respective regions, but the Tier 1 SEA-ME-WE cable passing through Yemen is the most important for the world. Because Microsoft knows very well that for now US and Azure do not have any alternative option because if this SEA-ME-WE cable gets damaged then it is also possible that along with the private internet of the world, the public internet will also become very expensive. So in such a situation it is also possible that due to Trump’s trade war US companies will not be able to get any special fiber optic alternatives and Microsoft’s expenses will also increase. Microsoft has said that the Middle East would suffer a loss of approximately $1 trillion dollar only because many investors from the Middle East invest money in the US market and they also have the best relations with the US, so it has been said that the European-US and Arabian companies do not have any special option that they can save the financial, trade and business related transactions in their country without the help of South Africa and China.
