Recently, Trump said XRP is becoming a U.S. reserve currency in reality. Reserve currencies (like the USD or gold) are backed by governments and central banks for international trade and stability—cryptocurrencies like XRP meet these criteria due to volatility. The U.S. has seen a boom in spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs since the SEC approvals in 2025. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund have been hugely successful, with over $50 billion in inflows combined. Franklin Templeton also launched a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2025. Recently, Trump has said that XRP (Ripple) would be the strongest currency or payment system in the US crypto reserves for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. So in such a situation, I am told that Trump wants US ETF traders or companies like BlackRock to make big flows inside XRP, Solana, and Ethereum ETFs now so that US-made XRP coins can have a big success in the future. Trump’s campaign promises to approve XRP and Solana as banking, International, and Digital Currency payments to grow the US decentralized technology.

Recently, Trump Media has explained that XRP and Solana can be used in many places, including Memecoin, Web3, political campaigns, NFTs, and the Metaverse, in addition to AI and Robotic strategy. Recently, Trump’s utility advisor has said that Sharp and Solana should be accepted for entertainment, freelancing, media, small finance, and NFT. Trump says, XRP (Ripple) coin can be used in a Purpose-Built Cross-Border Payments system, XRP Ledger, Regulatory and Legal, and Growing Adoption and Partnerships. Ripple has 300+ partners, including banks like Santander, Standard Chartered, and Japan’s SBI. In 2024, Ripple expanded in Asia, Europe, and Africa and launched RLUSD (a stablecoin) to complement XRP. Standard Chartered predicts that the XRP price could reach $10 by 2026 amid rising potential ETFs, adoption, and an international cross-border strategy with American Strategic Reserve. XRP processes millions daily in markets like Mexico, the US, China, Japan, the EU, and the Philippines, where remittances are critical. Its integration into ISO 20022 (a global payment standard) enhances its utility.
