China, India and Japan bought record-High iPhone 17 from US worth $50 Billion amid Trump Tariff war

Recently, it has been reported that the sales of iPhone 17 have also skyrocketed due to Trump’s tariff war, economic and currency crashes in Japan, China and India. iPhone 17 sales, in China, Japan, and India rebounded, growing 9% year-over-year. this was driven by aggressive prices cuts on the iPhone 17 lineup and government subsudies ahead of a major shopping festial, rate cute, Trade War, tariff ease and re-establishment of US-China, India and Japan relations with Apple. The total revenue from iPhone sales in China, Japan, India during this quarter was $50.3 billion, up from $34.7 billion in the same period of 2024. First time since begin of Trump’s tariff war against China, iPhone 17 new models have reported record-high sells in China, Japan and India. Not iPhone 17, but iPhone 16 sells has performed record high within the launch of iPhone 17 in China, japan and India. The premium Pro and Pro Max models are in the highest demand globally and have been selling out quickly in many regions, including Japan, India and China. Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the market for iPhone 16, iPhone 17 and iPhone 15 is still very strong in China, India, Japan and Europe because last year, people had bought record-high iPhone 15 due to the launch of iPhone 16, but now with the launch of iPhone 17, the price of iPhone 16 has also fallen and the sales of iPhone 16 are said to be the best performing worldwide.

The financial report for the quarter ending in June 2025 (fiscal Q3 2025) reported $44.5 billion in iPhone revenue, driven by the iPhone 16 lineup. This was higher than analyst expectations and a significant jump from the previous year, according to the financial express and enterpenuer.  The most recent public financial report from August 2025 showed iPhone revenue of $44.5 billion for the quarter ending in June 2025, ahead of any iPhone 16 launch. China’s largest online ecommerce store JD.com confirms, the sells of iPhone 16 has skyrocketed in China nad South China Sea countries amidst launch of iPhone 17 globally. Analysts at firms like Wedbush and Counterpoint Research have reported that initial demand for the iPhone 17 is 10-25% higher than the iPhone 16 launch, prompting them to raise their sales forecasts for Apple. The iPhone 17 launch in India, Japan and China was met with “bumper” sales and long queues, with initial demand being 19% higher than the iPhone 16 series. Recently it has been reported that all the iPhones manufactured locally in Asia have become much cheaper in China, Japan, and India, due to which now the large population of Asia has generated good interest in the iPhone 12 to iPhone 17.
